The Monroe Downtown Development Authority serves to revitalize and promote Downtown Monroe. This historic downtown area is important to our community and we focus on helping this area remain a dynamic and inviting place to live, work and play.

The Downtown Development Authority operates the City of Monroe's Main Street Program. This program focuses on historic preservation using a four- point approach of Promotions, Economic Restructuring, Design and Organization.
