Memories in Monroe Classic Car Show

Memories in Monroe Classic Car Show is an event is held every year in historic downtown Monroe with participants coming from all over the state of Georgia. All Cars participating in the show will be set up on Court Street, Midland Avenue, and Washington Street near the Historic Walton County Courthouse. Guests enjoy classic rock and roll music by Cruzin to the Oldies DJ Tommy Landrum. No need to worry about packing a lunch, downtown restaurants are on hand at the food court serving both breakfast and lunch. 

Farmers MarketThe Monroe Farmers Market

The Monroe Farmers Market is an initiative to encourage citizens to buy fresh, locally grown produce and goods.  The market is operated and comprised by its membership of farmers, growers, and artisan vendors. Our goal is to 1) provide local growers an outlet to showcase and market products; 2) publicize the importance of locally grown products; 3) provide opportunities for presentations and demonstrations related to agriculture, gardening, food safety and preparation; and 4) allow citizens of Monroe and the surrounding area the opportunity to buy healthy, locally grown products to enhance their quality of lifestyle.  Come out and join us each Saturday during the growing season to enjoy some family friendly activities along with shopping your local farmers market!

First Friday Concert Series

The Summer Concert Series occurs on the First Friday evening of every month from May to September.  There are 6 summer concerts in all. On each of our concert evenings, spectators can come and enjoy the sounds of bands from the likes of Kinchafoonee Cowboys to the Swinging Medallions. There are VIP tables available for our sponsors and for purchase by the general public. Admission to the concerts is free and open to all ages. People from all over Walton County and surrounding areas come to enjoy music, food and good times near the Historic Courthouse Lawn.
