The Monroe Super Summer Kids Activity Fair is held in downtown Monroe along Broad Street. This event is celebrated in conjunction with City Government Week. There are over 30 booths set up along the sidewalks with opportunities to sign children up for summer activities. There are also other attractions such as a petting zoo, moonwalks, fire trucks, police cars and K-9s. At City Hall there will be free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks available until supplies run out. This is a completely free event to the public and an opportunity for the city government to say thank you for choosing Monroe as your home.
If you are part of an organization that is interested in having a booth at this event please see the pdf link for a registration form and information. Booth space is free to all non-profit organizations and is $50 for any commercial group. Your business or organization may also choose to stuff a flyer, coupon or giveaway item in our 1,000 goody bags for $30.
